CSW offers a full range of construction services to our mining clients including heap leach pads, ILS ponds, headwalls, outfalls, raffinate/PLS piping, overburden stripping, reclamation/remediation and infrastructure construction. In addition we provide pre-construction services, underground utility installation, earthwork, asphalt concrete paving, native and recycle crushing and screening and subcontractor management.

We have significant experience working with liner companies and have developed unique methods in the placement and covering of liner to save our clients time and money. With in-house MSHA part 48 certified and OSHA training and daily tailgate sessions on site, our field teams have an undying commitment to safety - our corporate motto is that CSW stands for "Constant Safe Work," and we do not take this lightly.

Mine Support - Projects
Lisbon Valley ILS Ponds and Leach Pad 
This project for the Lisbon Valley Mine in La Sal, Utah required mobilization of resources to this remote location to perform a variety of services. In addition to more than 350,000 CY of mass excavation with hauls of 1.5 miles each way, CSW's mine support crew placed more than 125,000 CY of compacted clay liner and 150,000 CY of overliner fill.
Outfall Impoundment Project 
Work on this project for a major mining client includes construction of a 17-acre outfall pond lined with HDPE, 190,000 CY of mass excavation, 50,000 CY of structural fill, 10,000 CY tailings excavation and the construction of a concrete sediment basin and outfall structure with energy dissipaters totaling 850 CY of concrete and 45,000 pounds of rebar.
Headwall #5 
This project required installation of 4,800 LF of 12" and 24" HDPE pipe, 10,000 CY rock excavation, construction of a concrete spillway, headwalls, and dewatering for liner installation.
Pump Station Rehabilitation 
This project required the removal and replacement of approximately 2,500 LF of above ground and underground 24" HDPE pipe.
